Double Antonyms is officially fully released! This update focuses mostly on polishing the game ready for prime time and resolving any bugs that still lingered from the game’s beta development stage, however several features that were previously reserved for the official release are now available in the full version of the game. This includes Elimination mode, statistics, and the lexicon.

A limited version of the game remains available as a free-to-play browser game on itch.io. The full version is a paid product that can be bought through itch.io and is playable on Windows and Linux. An ad-supported mobile port for Android is also planned for the near future.

New Features

• Elimination game mode, Statistics, and Lexicon are now available in the full version of the game. Elimination is unlocked after reaching 200,000 total score in Time Trial.
• Added two new difficulties: Beginner and Insane. These are the same as Easy and Hard respectively, but they also alter the game’s mechanics to further increase or decrease difficulty instead of just choosing more or less common words from the word list.

Improvements

• Added over 950 words to the word list, bringing the total word count to 18726.
• Made some further corrections and adjustments to the word list.
• Last Stand now awards 20x score instead of 10x.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug where the screen would remain dimmed and unresponsive if the player hit “Cancel” at the erase data confirmation dialog.
